After realising that rather than fight all the wasp like things that keep coming at you in the mountain trail level, but simply run past them, I finally finished the level. The action is full on all the way through and the loss of health is certainly a problem.

I am now at a level that just goes on and on, the Ichinotani Battlefield. You no sooner defeat one wave of soldiers to be confronted with more and more. There is health around but not nearly enough to sustain the warriors. There must be an easier way to get through but I just haven’t found it yet.

If anyone has any suggestions I would certainly appreciate them. I haven’t been able to find a satisfactory answer on the forums.

I finished playing Resistance the Fall of Man on the PS3 and am now playing Genji Days of the Blade as a fill in until Fear is released later this month.

Genji is probably one of the most frustrating games I have played. The camera action sucks. And of course I am stuck in a part that I can’t seem to master, so that is frustrating me.

Over the weekend I was playing Gears of War on my grandson’s xbox live. Seriously thinking of getting one. Really enjoyed the two player action and the fact that you can revive your offsider within 30 seconds so the two player game can continue.

I have been looking at the Lonely Planet but Seb reckons its too frustrating trying to keep the hero’s body temperature up so that he doesn’t suffer from hyperthermia as well as complete the missions. Looks good though.

Seb is into driving games which don’t hold my interest, I find them really boring after a few minutes.

Well if I can’t get through this part of the game I might as well go and play the Wii for a while. I am part the way through Zelda on the Wii.

Just love the gaming platforms and games that are available today. Games have come a long way since the days of space invaders and those crummy ball bouncing off wall type games.

Oh well back to it.

Although Paula and I are seriously working our way through the PS3 game ‘Resistance’ The Fall of Man, we went out and each purchased a copy of ‘Genji’ Days of the Blade.

Well actually we first picked up Enchanted Arms but when we got it home to play, it was so boring. Just way too much talking and it took too long to go anywhere. Just doing the tutorial showed that the fight scenes were like the old Dungeon and Dragons Games where each member of the team would have a turn so the fights are a long laborious process .

So we took the games straight back and fortunately the store replaced them with Genji, which has much better game play.

We are just hanging out for ‘Fear’ to be released. This is reported to be an awesome game so we are really looking forward to its release.

So in the meantime we are quite content to continue playing through Resistance.
