You really have to wonder about the reasoning of some people.
Spain’s most wanted thief, “The Loner,” saw himself as a Robin Hood-style figure and said he robbed banks only because they stole from the public, his lawyer said Thursday.
And well he may see himself as a modern day Robin Hood the only difference is he kept the money which he had deposited in several different banks accounts.
Jaime Jimenez Arbe was accused of killing three policemen and holding up more than 30 banks, and he was planning to move on to insurance companies when he was arrested.
I think it is the logic of how these people justify what they do. Jimenez sent a letter to the El Pais and El Mundo newspapers in which he states “I am not a killer and if I was obliged to shoot at officers of the law, it was always against my will and in order to avoid being arrested.”
Don’t know about you but I figure that killing people makes him a killer.
