The price of going to the movies is becoming horrendous, especially for families. Not only is there the price of the tickets (becoming outrageous) but then there is the candy bar, equally expensive.
We usually go on a Tuesday night, which is cheap ticket night. After all why pay $15 if you can get away with $9, and to save more money, we buy our bottles of water and frozen cokes at the food hall rather than the theatre. It’s not that we are cheapskates, just can’t see the point in throwing money away.
You can also save money by buying books of 10 tickets.
Don’t understand why the cinemas don’t figure out that cheaper tickets mean more bums on seats.
So if you have a friend who is an avid movie goer, why not purchase some movie tickets for them. They will certainly appreciate it.
Hoyts will be having some super specials in February with tickets for $8, so it pays to join the Hoyts Movie Club, and its free.
