Now considering that we have just about every gaming platform known to man, I guess I don’t really need an Xbox 360, so it really comes down to ‘I want an Xbox’.
While I was in Brisbane at my son’s wedding, I spent some time playing Gears of War on my grandson, Sebastians, Xbox.
The game is awesome and we played a two player game with the split screen. I just loved it.
Paula and I played a two player game with Resistance the fall of man on the PS3 the other night, but it just wasn’t the same. It was just a one on one battle with one of us as the mutant and the other as the human soldier and we just had to run around and find each other and then of course slaughter each other as quickly as possible. All a bit humdrum really.
This doesn’t detract from the game which is really great to play in normal mode.
However, in Gears of War, you are a team and the gameplay is the same as if you were playing it through as a single player, so you have all the great effects of many enemies and you have 30 seconds to revive each other if you die. A much more satisfying dual gameplay.
So I am really considering buying an Xbox 360. So if anyone has any comments on their views between the PS3 and the Xbox they would be much appreciated.
I don’t even play games and love the X box….My dh is hooked on gears of war and the live stuff is incredible..the whole internet thing is great with it.
The free downloads, credits earned, messaging on it, movie previews, etc…it is a lot of fun.
Great to hear that you love the xbox. It truly looks awesome. I can see myself getting one. Thanks for your visits by the way. Nice to talk to yo.
