For the uninitiated, Thongchai Mcintyre or “Bird” is a pop Superstar in Thailand. My friend Paula introduced me to the music of Bird a few years ago and I just love his music.
We received a few surprised reactions when we went on a business trip to Bangkok last year and brought some of DVD’s of his music. Not too many Europeans ask for his discs apparently.
We had planned to go to Bangkok for his March concert this year but unfortunately we couldn’t swing it. So we are planning to go whenever he has his next concert.
